3. Position Start Date and Procedure
 

· The Appointment date can be adjusted in consultation with department.

· The evaluation, interview process, and final decision will be completed within six months after the application submission.

· Application Process:

2) Department Interview (on-site or online)

3) Faculty Hiring Committee Interview (on-site or online)

4) Final Decision

4. Qualification
 

· Applicants must hold a doctoral degree in a closely related engineering or science discipline at the time of the appointment.

· Proficiency in English is required, as all lectures at DGIST are conducted in English.

· Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

* Note: Reference letters are required only for the candidates who pass the application screening stage. These letters should be sent directly to the corresponding department prior to the interview.

7. Matters of Consideration
 

· Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

· Selected candidates at each stage will be notified individually with detailed information regarding the terms of employment.

· The appointment shall be canceled under the following circumstances:

- If a false entries or modifications are found in the application form.

- If the candidate fails to obtain a doctoral degree at the time of appointment.

· The appointment and acceptance will also be canceled if the candidate, or someone closely related to the candidate, engages in any form of misconduct, such as making improper requests, exerting pressure, or offering financial benefits in relation to the hiring process, resulting in their unfair selection.

· Appointment will be restricted if the candidate is subject to disqualifications, set out in the State Public Officials Act, (Article 33), or the DGIST Regulation on Faculty Personnel Management, (Article 12).

· Matters not specified in this announcement will be governed by DGIST Faculty Personnel Management regulations and related policies.

8. 유의사항
 
가. 적격자가 없는 경우에는 초빙하지 않을 수 있음
나. 최종 초빙여부는 개별 통지하며, 계약조건을 정하여 계약제로 임용함
      (Tenure-Track, 초임 계약 후 재임용·승진·정년보장 심사 등을 통하여
      계속 임용)
다. 응시원서 허위기재·변조, 임용일 기준 박사학위 취득 불가 등은
      임용을 취소함
라. 부정합격자(본인 또는 본인과 밀접한 관계가 있는 타인이 채용에 관한
      부당한 청탁, 압력 또는 재산상의 이익 제공 등의 부정행위를 한 경우,
      해당 부정행위로 인해 채용에 합격한 본인)에 대하여 임용 및
      합격을 취소함
마. 국가공무원법 제33조에서 정하는 임용 결격사유 등 DGIST
      교원인사규정 제12조(결격사유)에 해당되는 자는 임용이 제한됨
