The "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iași is announcing a competition for four part-time research positions, each requiring 2 hours per day, for the duration of the project. These positions are available within the research project titled "Spatial Analysis of Growth, Environment, and Sustainable Well-being" (acronym SAGES), project code CF 20/27.07.2023, contract no. MCID - DGGCPNRR 760275/26.03.2024. The project is funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Call no. PNRR-III-C9-2023 - I8_round 2, and is being implemented at the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iași.


Skills/Qualifications

The University's minimum standards by subject area, in accordance with the model in Annex 2c, for fixed-term research posts within the University's faculties. The University's standards shall be at least equal to the national minimum standards approved under Art. 156 para. (1) letter a) and para. (2) of the Law on Higher Education No. 199/2023, as amended. The check sheets in Annex 2c are completed and signed by the candidate with the following specific requirements:

  • For Post-doctoral Researcher positions:

    - a doctoral degree in Social Sciences;

    - a maximum of 8 years from the date on which the diploma was awarded at the time of the competition.

Specific Requirements

Specific scientific research activities for the project:

  • Economics;
  • Identification and analysis of economic factors related to well-being;
  • Data collection and creation of databases;
  • Conducting comparative analyses;
  • Statistical analysis and econometric modeling skills;
  • Publishing at least one Web of Science (Q1/Q2) paper and one BDI paper;
  • Reporting research results;
  • Participation in scientific events.
