We offer an employment as a post doc in the Department of Experimental Mechanics which has a strong cooperation with many research centres in Poland, abroad as well as industrial companies. Institute of Fundamental Technological Research has the highest national scientific category (A+) in the field “mechanical engineering”. The offer applies to modelling and testing of titanium and nickel-based alloys subjected to complex mechanical loads. 

SCOPE OF WORK includes: determination of basic elasto-plastic properties of tested AM metals and their components for the selected directions of specimen geometry, i.e.: proportional limit, elastic limit, yield point, tensile strength, Young's modulus, Kirchhoff’s modulus, Poisson’s ratio, maximum uniform plastic strain, hardening curve coefficients, specific energy of uniform elastic strain and plastic strain, normal anisotropy coefficient. Execution of uniaxial quasi-static tensile tests, quasi-static torsion tests. 

Determination of material properties based on yield surface evolution for biaxial and multiaxial stress states; designing of proportional and non-proportional loading paths being combination of monotonic and cyclic signals; Analysis of secondary effects under nonproportional loadings, optimalisation of specimen geometry using FEA calculations.
