Postdoctoral Opportunity at the Healthy Ingredients Biotechnology Platform (PBIS) – supported by FAPESP and coordinated by the Institute of Food Technology. Requires a PhD in Food Engineering or a related field obtained within the last 7 years. Proven experience in enzymatic and chemical synthesis reactions, characterization of oils and fats, rheology, emulsions, microencapsulation, and oleogels. Familiarity with developing new food products at a pilot scale using lipids is essential. Proficiency in English is required, and the candidate must be available to start immediately.

The selection process includes document analysis and interviews with pre-selected candidates. Applicants must submit a curriculum summary (FAPESP model - https://fapesp.br/sumula), a motivation letter highlighting skills and experience (1 page), and one recommendation letter from a senior professor/researcher. Only first-author publications in indexed journals will be considered for ranking.

The position is open to Brazilians and foreigners. The fellowship value is BRL 12,000.00, with an additional 10% of the annual fellowship amount for unforeseen expenses related to research activities. The fellowship is expected to begin in 04/2025 and last for 20 months, with the possibility of extension.
