Mission of the Role 

PCIe, DDR 등의 High-speed IP를 이해하여, 이를 SoC PKG와 Board에서 구현/검증하는 역할을 담당합니다. PKG/Board 설계 방향성을 제시하고 Artwork guide 및 SI/PI 개선 활동 등의 전반적인 PKG/Board 개발 업무를 수행함에 있어 3rd party를 leading 하는 능력이 필요합니다. 그리고 이를 바탕으로 SoC 평가를 위한 Evaluation Board를 개발하고 post-silicon 검증을 수행합니다. 이와 함께 자사의 SoC를 기반으로 상용 모듈(PCIe CEM card 등)을 개발하는 역할도 수행합니다. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Silicon floor planning from PKG/BRD perspective  
• PKG and Board development.  

-High-level circuit design (Block diagram) 

-High-speed and high-power design on the PCB 

-Schematic, Artwork review & guide 

-SI/PI analysis and design improvement  

• Post-silicon verification 

-Make a verification plan at the board level for SoC function and performance 

-SoC Evaluation Board development and SoC verification 

-Reference schematic development for SoC 

• Mass production product development 

-HW development for mass production 

-Certification test for mass production 

• Work closely with the other team and 3rd parties to design the optimal product 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field 
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Board-level HW development 
• Broad understanding of high-speed and high-power design at the PCB level 
• Good deal with PCB CAD Tool such as Cadence Allegro 
• Circuit verification capabilities by using various instruments such as an oscilloscope 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with analyzing SI/PI by using SI/PI tools such as SIwave, HFSS, ADS, etc 
• Experience with High-speed IP such as PCIe 5.0, 6.0, LPDDR5X, HBM, etc 
• Familiarity with using programming languages such as Python and C for testing 
• Experience with launching mass production chips
