The job opening for the possition of assistant professor.



Skills/Qualifications

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • have a PhD degree in physics, astronomy or equivalent field. PhD degree must be awarded not earlier than 7 years before the 1 st of January of the year when the employment in this project starts. (This time period can be extended for long-term illness, child birth or care following the rules of attachment to NSC Board nr 50/2023, dated 11 May 2023)
  • be proficient at programming
  • communicate freely in English
  • be experienced with X-ray and optical data analysis tools
  • prior experience in modelling astrophysical sources and in studies of LIV effects is not a requirement, but it will be considered as a strong advantage
  • the candidate must fulfil the formal conditions of NCN for employment on a post-doc position(https://www.ncn.gov.pl/sites/default/files/pliki/uchwaly-rady/2023/uchw…, point 2.1.1)
