Job Summary/offer: The Centre of Food Science and Veterinary Public Health at the Vetmeduni in Vienna is seeking a Postdoctoral researcher. Tasks include: - Participation in and independent handling of research projects in the field of Animal Health Economics, with a particular focus on animal disease control and food security.Supervision and guidance of doctoral candidates, PhD students, and diploma students.Preparation of economic analyses of study results.Independent preparation and delivery of courses and administration of examinations in accordance with the collective agreement.Acquisition of third-party funding.Publication of scientific papers.Preparation of reports and presentations.Contribution to general teaching, organizational, and administrative tasks.

Specific Requirements

Completion of a degree in Veterinary Medicine, Economics, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field, as well as a doctorate (Dr. or PhD).Good command of English, both written and spoken (B2 level).Good command of German (B2 level).Proven experience in the economic analysis of data – either as a focus during studies, demonstrated participation in advanced training courses, or a responsible role in a peer-reviewed publication
