Job Description:
• Reference: OKAMBA_MSc2
• Research Field: Computer Science
• Objectives: Execution and realization of research activities and execution of the work plan.
• Work plan:
  • Activity 1 – Study of the state of the art in gamification algorithms applied to SDNs (3 months);
  • Activity 2 – Implementation of gamification mechanisms in SDNs (3 months);
  • Activity 3 – Testing, pilot study, and final evaluation (3 months).
• Work location: Department of Informatics of the University of Beira Interior
• Fellowship duration: 9 months, expected start January 2026
• Regime: Exclusive dedication

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and enrollment in a Master’s course (BI)
• Experience and knowledge in computer networks
• Know-how in Software Defined Networking
• If degree obtained abroad, compliance with Decree-Law 66/2018 and Ministerial Order no. 33/2019
• Proof of registration in MSc required

Selection Criteria:

• Top 3 candidates proceed to 2nd phase: Interview (video conference possible)
• Final evaluation: 50% first phase, 50% second phase
