The Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Warsaw - a leading center of chemical sciences in Poland, recognized in Europe and worldwide, announces a competition for an assistant in a group of science positions in project financed by National Science Centre, entitled "Synthesis of ruthenium complexes with CAAC ligands, application in metathesis reactions". Project leader: dr Adrian Styniczuk.

Skills/Qualifications

  • • PhD degree in chemistry defended no sooner than 12 years before employment date or thesis close to being defended (required in the first day of work at the latest);
  • • advance knowledge of organic synthesis and organometallic chemistry;
  • • very good knowledge of English (at least B2 level);
  • • at least three papers in international journals (top journal preferred)
  • • team working skills
  • • the candidate must meet the requirements of art. 113 of the Act - Law on Higher Education and Science dated July 20, 2018 (Polish Journal of Laws of 2024, no. 1571 as amended).
