We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join an interdisciplinary project investigating the communication systems of cuttlefish using biomimetic robotic platforms.

The project combines behavioral biology, robotics, and computational analysis to explore how cuttlefish produce and interpret dynamic visual signals. The successful candidate will contribute to experimental design, computational analysis of behavioral data, and the integration of biological insights with robotic systems.


Skills/Qualifications

PhD in biology, cognitive sciences, computational neuroscience, bioinformatics, robotics, or a related field

Strong expertise in computational data analysis (e.g., behavioral analysis, signal processing, or machine learning)

Experience working with cephalopods

Ability to work in an interdisciplinary research environment

Specific Requirements

Programming experience (Python and R)

Experience with behavioral experiments and quantitative analysis

Interest in bio-inspired robotics and animal communication
