Job position requirements (skills/languages/required experience)

The candidates need to hold a PhD in media studies, have a good knowledge of English and Spanish (C1), and previous experience in participation in previous reseatch projects with a qualitative approach. They need to have professional experience in the use of qualitative software for research such as atlas.ti. It will also be considered training in qualitative research, organization of academic events, publication of scientific articles, participation in international conferences, knowledge of quantitative research techniques.

Benefits 

26.820,60 € gross salary per year

Candidates need to reach 60 points:

• Academic record – 30

- Doctorate in specialization 30, Doctorate in similar specialization 10

• Languages – 15

- English c1 - 10
- Spanish c1 – 2,5, c2- 5

• Experience - 20

- >3 anys 20, <3 anys 10

• Computer software knowledge – 15

- Atlas.ti or similar – 10
- Other softwares – 5

• Other merits – 20

- Training in qualitative research - 5
- Organization of academic events – 5
- Publication of scientific articles - 5
- Participation in international conferences - 3
- Knowledge of quantitative research techniques -2

Selection process 

A single curricular phase, unless, in application of the agreement of February 1, 2019, the committee proposes other actions, tests and/or interviews to be carried out.
