The Institute of Advanced Studies at NCU in Torun is seeking an Encapsulation and Biomaterials Specialist.

Responsibilities will include:

  • • developing and optimizing lactoferrin encapsulation processes and functionalized variants (complexation with metals, lecithinization), preparing stable bioactive forms using spray drying;
  • • integrating of modified lactoferrin in spray drying (mILF-SD) with polymer flakes, optimizing fiber structure in terms of porosity, diameter, and protein release, ensuring appropriate product functionality;
  • • testing the impact of packaging and sterilization conditions on material stability, assessing protein integrity and material properties, and preparing reports for technological and implementation decision-making.
