Study of Tumor Progression Mechanisms

Identify and characterize oncogenic pathways altered by germline mutations in mitochondrial genes. Develop and analyze advanced tumor models (cellular, animal, and organoid-based) to investigate tumor evolution and metastasis.

 

Tumor Initiation Mechanisms

Establish preneoplastic models to identify the earliest epigenetic and molecular changes that drive cellular transformation. Integrate multi-omics data to discover early biomarkers and potential therapeutic targets in these hereditary cancer syndromes.
