●    A doctoral degree in computer science, mathematics, law, or related fields (obtained no earlier than 7 years before the start date, per program requirements).
●    Legal and IT competencies (experience in tax law and research on large language models).
●    Proven research experience in artificial intelligence, particularly in NLP, LLM, RAG, and text data analysis, evidenced by publications.
●    Proficiency in English for effective communication, scientific literature review, and writing publications.
●    Ability to work in a multidisciplinary research team and manage research projects.
●    Familiarity with machine learning tools and technologies (e.g., PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers) and software development support tools (e.g., Co-pilot, Cursor).
●    Desirable: Publications in reputable scientific journals and experience with legal data.
 

The post-doctoral researcher will carry out research tasks within the project "AITAX (AI Tax Advisor) - An Innovative AI System for Tax Matters Support," funded by the Foundation for Polish Science under the FIRST TEAM FENG program, supervised by Dr. habil. Tomasz Kajdanowicz.

●    Conducting research on natural language processing (NLP, LLM, RAG) methods and semantic analysis of legal data.
●    Developing AI algorithms to support semantic search and generate descriptions of tax interpretations.
●    Coordinating work and providing implementation guidance to PhD students and students involved in the project.
● Preparing scientific publications and project reports.
