Skills/Qualifications

Hold a doctorate degree. In the case that the degree is from a foreign university, the selected candidate must apply for the homologation or equivalence to the academic level of doctor before the end of the tenure track period.
In the case that the doctorate degree is from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, the candidate must have been contractually unattached for a minimum period of two years from the date of obtaining the doctorate degree.
Not to have been separated by means of disciplinary proceedings from the service of any of the public administrations, nor to have been disqualified by a final judgment for the development of public functions. In the case of being a national of another State, not being disqualified or in an equivalent situation or having been subject to disciplinary or equivalent sanction that prevents, in their State, in the same terms the access to public employment positions.

These participation requirements must be fulfilled on the first day of the deadline for submitting applications, must be able to be accredited at any time during the selection process and must continue to be fulfilled on the date of signing the contract.

The merits of the application will always be taken into account in relation to the first day of presentation of applications.

A tenure-track position in the Department of Humanities in the profile “French Philology” and specific profile: “French literary and cultural studies and French language”.

This call for applications is made within the framework of the collaboration agreement between the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya, through the Department of Research and Universities, and the Universities of Barcelona, Autònoma de Barcelona, Politècnica de Catalunya, Pompeu Fabra, Lleida, Girona and Rovira i Virgili for the implementation of the Program for the incorporation of teaching and research talent to the Spanish public universities, in execution of the provisions of Chapter IV of the Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22nd, of the University System.

Starting date: June 2025.
