The aim of the MOOSAIC ANR project is to develop a magnetic mapper to determine the magnetic properties of samples at the microstructure scale.


In partnership with SPEC-CEA, UMR CNRS GET and UMR CNRS IPCMS, the UR IREENA laboratory will develop the code needed to analyze the probe data developed by SPEC, identify the properties of the probe and reconstruct the magnetic field on a microscopie scale from the measurements. It is on this last part that the candidate will mainly have to intervene, by exploring the possibilities offered by deep learning and machine learning methods or inverse problem optimisation to reconstruct the field. However, he/she will also be involved in developing the graphical interface and visualisation tools, in interaction with GET and IPMC, which will also provide the measurements to validate and test the software.


We are looking for candidates with a background in scientific computing, electrical engineering or physics apptied to electromagnetic field calculations, with extensive programming experience, and preferably knowledge of the Python language. Visits of the postdoctoral researcher to partners’ laboratories will be necessary.
