Position offer :
A 24-month, full-time postdoctoral position is proposed at Université Paris Cité as part of an interdisciplinary project funded by the competitive “Crossing Cutting Edge” program of the Initiative d'Excellence (IDEX). The project brings together two leading research groups, one specializing in DNA nanotechnology at the CiTCoM laboratory (Faculty of Pharmacy), and the other focusing on electrochemistry at the ITODYS laboratory (Department of Chemistry).
The recruited postdoc, based in the CiTCoM laboratory, will harness DNA origami nanotechnology, supported by biomolecular dynamics simulations, to engineer precision-built redox and enzymatic integrated nanosystems on DNA origami scaffolds whose properties can be spatially and functionally modulated. These innovative nano-objects will be specifically designed to be interrogated by electrochemistry in a unique multiscale approach (ensemble vs. single object levels), to investigate how controlled spatial organization at the nanoscale can favor their electrocatalytic properties. Electocatalytic studies will be conducted by the ITODYS partner.

Candidate profile :
We are looking for a bold and motivated international candidate, recently graduated with a PhD with a background in DNA nanotechnology, chemistry or biophysics.
She/he should be a skilled experimentalist, with affinity for interdisciplinary research.
Experience with preparation of self-assembled DNA nanostructures and/or hybrid DNA nanostructures is required. Experience with one of the following techniques is an advantage: DNA origami design and visualization tools (e.g. CADnano), electron microscopy (TEM), and local probe microscopies (AFM).
