The Dean of Faculty of Medicine University of Ostrava announces a selection procedure for position:

• Specialist (senior) in hematooncology

The Immuno-Biophysics Lab within the Blood Cancer Research Group (BCRG) is seeking motivated and talented researcher

Type of Systematized Position: Postdoc

Expected entry into the employment: 1. 10. 2025 or by an agreement

Expected working time:

• 5 %; on a fixed-term basis for the duration of the LERCO project (maximum until December 31, 2027).
• Language in Which the Selection Process Will Be Conducted: Czech and/or English.

Salary Conditions:

• In accordance with the Internal Salary Regulations of the University of Ostrava

Description of the work position:

• Participation in the LERCO project CZ.10.03.01/00/22_003/0000003 within the research program VP 6 "Research and Development of New Therapeutic Methods for Blood Cancers."

• You will investigate the biophysical principles underlying immune cell signaling, with particular emphasis on membrane and receptors organization and their spatial dynamics. You will collaborate closely with other research groups within the BCRG and with international collaborators. Our group has a strong interest in cutting-edge, interdisciplinary research in T cell and natural killer (NK) cell biology, using techniques and approaches such as advanced imaging, optogenetics, cell engineering (e.g., CAR-T/NK cells) and synthetic biology.
