Program Overview: The IPAI Science Residency is a one-year, fully funded research fellowship (employment contract) for researchers working in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The program supports outstanding scientists who aim to translate cutting-edge AI research into solutions with tangible societal, economic, or public impact. Residents develop and lead their own high-quality research project within the dynamic IPAI ecosystem in Heilbronn.

Target Group / Requirements:

• • Researchers with at least three years of research experience or a completed PhD
• • Strong academic background in AI or AI-related fields (Computer Science, Engineering, Social Sciences, Psychology, etc.)
• • Proposals must demonstrate scientific excellence and clear societal relevance
• • International applicants are welcome
• • Working language: English

Duration: 1 year (with extension option)
