Implementation of research tasks in the frame of the SHENG project funded by the National Science Center, Poland "Interaction mechanism of meta-geogrid-soil interface for resilient reinforcement of high slopes under freeze-thaw condition" (no. 2025/56/Q/ST8/00329).


Specific Requirements

Specialist in experimental mechanics of heterogeneous materials. Competences should be proved at least by a PhD in the above scientific areas, including current scientific achievements confirmed by prestigious journal articles.

Obtaining a doctoral degree no earlier than 12 years before January 1, 2026. This period may be extended by a time of long-term (in excess of 90 days) documented sick leaves or rehabilitation leaves granted on account of being unfit to work. In addition, the period may be extended by the number of months of a childcare leave granted pursuant to the Labour Code and in the case of women, by 18 months for every child born or adopted, whichever manner of accounting for career breaks is preferable.

Terms of Employment

  • • Position: 3-year full-time Post-doc position
  • • Form: contract of employment (3-year full-time)
  • • Funding: National Science Centre (NCN) - 140,000 PLN per year for 36 months
  • • Salary: Gross monthly salary of about 8,600 PLN
  • • Starting date: 2026.03.02
