The Faculty Council of the University of Zagreb Faculty of Science (hereinafter: the PMF), pursuant to Articles 32(1)(19) and 77 of the Faculty Statutes, announces a

for appointment of

an associate to the associate category I position - seniorassistant in natural science, the field of mathematics, for a fixed term and on a full-time basis, to work on the Croatian Science Foundation project titled: Dirac operators, Clifford algebras and their quantum analogues, at the PMF’s Department of Mathematics – 1 person.

The Call is open to applicants of either gender on equal terms.

In addition to the general terms and conditions of employment, the applicants must satisfy the conditions set out in the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No 119/22).

The applicants should enclose the following with their application:

• • a CV;
• • the relevant diploma/certificate; and
• • a proof of citizenship.

The applicants must satisfy the following conditions:

• • a completed doctoral study programme in natural science, the field of mathematics;

additional requirement: scientific interest in representation theory, quantum groups and their homogenous spaces, as well as noncommutative geometry, which can be proved by enclosing a list of published papers.
