The laboratory is interested in investigating the genetic and epigenetic basis of phenotypic plasticity in animals using insects as a model organism. To that end, we use a variety of functional genomic approaches (ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, bisulfite sequencing) and bioinformatic analyses as a model system 


Skills/Qualifications

The position will focus on gene regulation and epigenomics involved in phenotypic plasticity. Previous experience studying transcription factors and chromatin methylation (RNA-seq, nanopore) and/or programming skills in languages commonly used in bioinformatics (Python or R, etc) are highly encouraged. Previous postdoctoral experience of at least 6 months is also encouraged.

- Proven wet lab or analytical skills in epigenomics

- Creative mindset.
