The Robotics and Mechatronics Laboratory (http://rml.ku.edu.tr) at Koç University, Istanbul, Türkiye, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in Physical Human-Robot Interaction (pHRI). The successful candidate will conduct research on human-robot collaboration, intent recognition, adaptive control, robot learning, and AI-enabled robotic assistants. Ongoing projects investigate collaborative object manipulation, human intent prediction, fatigue estimation, multimodal sensing, and learning-based control strategies for safe and efficient human-robot interaction. Applicants should hold a PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: robot control, machine learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, wearable sensing, human factors, or robot learning. Experience with ROS, robotic manipulators, collaborative robots, and experimental human-subject studies is desirable. The position provides an opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research at the intersection of robotics, AI, and human-centered technologies within an internationally recognized research group.
