The laboratory requires a researcher to design gRNA for multiplex genome editing of rice transformation and regenerating of rice plants and confirmation of mutation structure for the BIOCRAFT project. The candidate will carry out GMO/GE field trials. The candidate will have to provide reports, write manuscripts for publication and carry out statistical evaluation of the results. The candidate will supervise technician staff, master and undergraduate students, and manage a genome editing laboratory.


Skills/Qualifications

- Degree in plant physiology, biology or agronomy and PhD in food science and technology

Specific Requirements

-The candidate must have demonstrated experience and track record in multiplex genome editing of rice, transformation and regenerating of rice plants and confirmation of mutation structure.

- It is essential that the candidate must demonstrate passed involvement in GMO/GE field trials. 

- He/she should be able to demonstrate proficiency in writing reports, manuscripts for publication and to carry out statistical evaluation of the results. 

- The candidate must have experience in supervising technician staff, master and undergraduate students, managing a genome editing laboratory
