The Health & Society Unit (HSRU) at Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) is recruiting a 24-month Postdoc Position to work on two projects: 

• • The first project (12 months), internally funded by the ‘Action Blanche’ scheme, leverage administrative data on work accidents to assess the relationship between climate variations and work accidents propensities using time-series methods. 
• • The second project (12 months), funded by the Belgian National Scientific Fund (FNRS), focuses on the relationship between trade unions and workers’ physical health using panel data to address causal effects and mechanisms.

We are looking for an enthusiastic early career researcher with experience using advanced statistical methods and, especially, expertise using administrative data, time-series and epidemiological analyses and longitudinal methods. A PhD in social science, epidemiology or public health is required for this position. 

We offer a 24 months contract to work with the growing team of the Health & Society Research Unit and will support the postdoctoral researcher to develop their own research agenda.
