Main tasks:

• • conducting and developing research activities in the field of microbiology, enzymology and molecular biology, including publishing research results and undertaking new research topics;
• • participating in the preparation and implementation of research projects, including submitting applications for research funding and collaborating within research teams;
• • developing scientific activity through participation in national and international conferences and cooperation with research institutions;
• • conducting teaching activities in the areas of microbiology, enzymology, and molecular biology, preparing teaching materials, and improving applied teaching methods;
• • engaging students in the teaching process and supporting their scientific development, including through consultations and supervision of their work;
• • participating in the organizational work of the unit, including involvement in teams, committees, and activities for the benefit of the study program or discipline;
• • cooperating with the unit’s staff in the implementation of teaching, research, and organizational tasks;
• • participating in the academic life of the unit and carrying out assigned organizational duties.

Formal requirements:

• • meeting the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science;
• • a doctoral degree (PhD) in the field of Exact and Natural Sciences, in the discipline of Biological Sciences.
• • submitting all documents required to enter the competition.

Substantive requirements:

• • having academic achievements including at least 3 scientific publications (articles in journals from the MEiN list, of which at least 2 have an IF and were published in international circulation) or authorship of a scientific monograph in the area of neuroscience and/or clinical psychology;
• • having experience in conducting scientific research for a period of at least 3 years;
• • having experience in preparing or submitting at least one application for research funding from external sources and/or participating in a research project;
• • having experience in teaching in higher education for a period of at least 1 year, with a total teaching load of at least 60 hours in the field/discipline of psychology;
• • having experience in teamwork, including participation in a research, project or organizational team for a period of at least 1 year, or carrying out organizational tasks for the unit for a period of at least 6 months;
• • ability to conduct classes in a clear, structured and engaging manner for the audience;
• • having a very good command of Polish, both spoken and written, enabling classes to be conducted fluently, clearly and engagingly;
• • having knowledge of English at a level of at least C1, enabling the conduct of classes.

• • list of research and teaching achievements from the last 5 years, including information on published monographs, articles, reviews, active participation in national and international conferences, participation in scientific research, and achievements in student education
• • list of any scientific awards
• • information on organizational achievements
