The Science with AI Lab at the University of Liège (Belgium) has threeopenings as part of a new funded project on AI/foundation models forweather and climate:- A 4-year PhD position focused on developing novel self-supervisedlearning approaches for learning foundation models from meteorologicaldata;


- A 2-year postdoc position working on physics-informed foundationmodels (candidates with background in atmospheric sciences areparticularly encouraged to apply);


- A 2-year postdoc position focusing on inverse problems and couplingfoundation models with physical simulators.The project aims to develop foundation models that properly integratephysical constraints and handle the complexities of atmospheric data.Our group maintains active collaborations with leading researchinstitutions in both ML and physical sciences.For more details about the positions and application process:
