Scope of duties (full-time, on-site post-doctoral position):

a. Synthesis of metallic nanostructures (both bare and surface-functionalized),
b. Optimization of materials intended for the fabrication of three-dimensional bone scaffold models,
c. Design and fabrication (3D printing) of three-dimensional bone scaffold models,
d. Preparation of samples for physicochemical and mechanical testing,
e. Conducting mechanical testing of materials and synthetic bone scaffolds,
f. Performing spectroscopic analyses of the surfaces of materials (bare and functionalized) and synthetic bone scaffolds,
g. Evaluation of wear of materials (bare and functionalized) and synthetic bone scaffolds,
h. Analysis and interpretation of research results,
i. Preparation of scientific publications and project reports,
j. Preparation of monthly reports on the progress of research and scientific activities.

Skills/Qualifications

• • Laboratory skills: 3D printing, polymers, composites, nanomaterials synthesis;
• • Experience in molecular spectroscopy: practical skills in Raman, SERS, IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy; analysis of various spectroscopic data in surface studies;
• • Experience in materials characterization: wear studies, porosity analysis, and mechanical testing;
• • English language proficiency: at least B2 level (spoken and written);
• • Good command of Microsoft Office and data/spectra processing software;
• • Experience in acquiring, managing, or implementing research projects will be considered an advantage.
• • Ability to conduct scientific research and work effectively within a research team, as well as a high level of professional conduct and professionalism in the workplace.
