The competition is open to persons who wish to undertake research and teaching work in the scientific discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies and meet the conditions set forth in the Law of July 20, 2018. - Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2023, item 742, as amended) and the Statute of the Opole University of Technology.

The candidate should have:

1. completed 1st i 2nd cycle studies or long-cycle studies in the field of automation and robotics, obtained a doctoral degree in the discipline of automation, electronics, electrical engineering and space technologies;
2. knowledge and skills in: 

• analog and digital electronic systems,
• automation and robotics,
• programming in C/C++ and assembler of at least one microcontroller,
• programming in Matlab, LabView, AutoCad,
• metrology and measurement theory,
• construction of electronic measurement systems,
• signal theory and digital signal processing, including statistical and spectral analysis,
• processing of biomedical signals, in particular electrocardiographic waveforms,
• architectures and medical measurement systems, in particular devices for measuring electrical activity of the heart muscle,
• designing and building medical measurement devices,
• soldering and diagnostic techniques for SMD and THT systems,
• using workshop tools for building/servicing electronic systems,
• reading technical documentation;

1. very good knowledge of the Polish language to prepare and teach classes, very good knowledge of English.
