The Research Committee (Special Account for Research Funds) of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (ELKE AUTh), in the framework of the project “Scholarship grant for a researcher at risk (*as defined below) funded by own resources, with Academic Head Prof. Alexandros Triantafyllidis, invites candidates to submit proposals for one position for an at risk highly skilled scientist, through the award of a scholarship, starting from the signing of the contract and for 12 months and with a total anticipated remuneration 21.600,00€.

The scholarship will begin in April 2025.

* The Call is addressed to non-Greek citizens who reside in Greece at least during the last year before the date of the Call and meet one of the following:

1. Have been recognized as refugees in Greece

2. Have been recognized as beneficiaries of subsidiary protection in Greece

3. Have applied for asylum in Greece and have already been identified as ‘at-risk scholar’ by Scholars at Risk,

4. Are (1) Ukrainian nationals, or (2) stateless persons, or (3) nationals from third countries other than Ukraine, with their primary residence in Ukraine on 22 February 2022, and meet the eligibility criteria a, b & c of the 2nd Call of the EU funded MSCA4Ukraine scheme.
