University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law, Trg Republike Hrvatske 14, announces a competition for the selection of one employee for the associate position of Senior Assistant in the scientific area of Social Sciences, in the scientific field of Law, scientific branch of Civil Law and Civil Procedural Law, at the Department for Civil Procedural Law.

Candidates must meet the requirements set by the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity.

Along with a signed job application, candidates should send in the attachment:
- proof of completed doctoral studies in the scientific area of Social Sciences, in the field of Law
- transcript of grades with the average grade highlighted,
- curriculum vitae,
- bibliography and information about scientific, teaching, and professional activities,
- certificate of proficiency in at least one foreign language,
- citizenship certificate or proof of citizenship of another country, and
- for foreign citizens, a proof of Croatian language competence.

Candidates referring to the right of preference in employment according to special regulations (Law on Protection of Military and Civilian War Disabled, Law on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, Law on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of their Families) must explicitly mention this right in their application and attach the appropriate evidence according to special regulations. They have precedence over other candidates only under equal conditions. The deadline for submitting applications is thirty days from the announcement of this competition.

By applying to the competition, a candidate agrees that their data will be processed for the purpose of the competition.

Candidates will be informed of the selection results within fifteen days after the selection process.
