The project focuses on combating frailty in older adults by developing a new Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) system that utilizes Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA). The project aims to present a scalable model for various healthcare settings, advancing secondary prevention strategies in compliance with ethical and legal requirements in the context of data protection and emerging technologies. 

The research consortium has multiple goals and includes a focused study on the legal and ethical aspects of continuous data monitoring. 

Candidates should have research experience, preferably as Principal Investigator (PI) or team leader, in similar projects related to privacy and data protection and/or previous professional consultancy experience in the same field. A demonstrable high-level proficiency in English and a basic knowledge of a programming language (e.g., Python) are required. 

Preferred qualifications include:

• Proficiency in additional languages besides English. 

• Participation in international research networks in Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), Problematic Usage of the Internet (PUI), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Legal Design. 

• International publications and/or participation as a speaker or lecturer at international conferences in the above fields, as well as in Artificial Intelligence (AI), smart mirrors/smart speakers, ethics of new technologies, and data protection. 

• Possession of professional certifications in privacy-related fields. 

• Demonstrable knowledge of experimental methodologies in the social sciences sector.
