VHIR offers a vacancy for a Postdoctoral Researcher, within the Research group of the Rehabilitation Service of VHIR, in the spinal cord injury unit, to coordinate the activities associated with the research study.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Coordinate and organize large teams, facilitating communication and cooperation between the different research group
• Collaboration with other researchers in all tasks necessary to achieve the working team objectives
• Promote research capacity building among community-based organizations and medical groups
• Prepare research ethics board applications
• Organize patient data collection and database maintenance
• Keep track of data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocol
• Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of research and data collection activities
• Manage the day-to-day activities of any technical support staff specifically engaged in the carrying out of research/clinical protocol
• Carry out the execution of the instrumental measurements of the studies
• Monitor the progress of research activities developing records of research activities
• Support the dissemination and communication of studies results through the publication of articles and presentations at national and international congresses
• Support the principal researcher in managerial activities
• Prepare final project reports
• Draft scientific papers and contribute to the overall preparation of research for publication
