Skills/Qualifications
  1. PhD in Bayesian statistics (BSc in Statistics, with a grade higher than 8.0/10.0 or equivalent; MSc in Statistics, with a grade higher than 7.5/10.0 or equivalent)
  2. A track record of scientific publications
  3. Strong programming skills, Python and R preferred
  4. Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to biological/ biomedical datasets
  5. A track record of scientific talks/ Participation in national/international conferences/ business accelerators relevant to Statistics (biological/ biomedical datasets)
  6. Awards/ Successful in competitive funding relevant to Statistics (biological/ biomedical datasets)
  7. Supervision of scientific associates/ (post)graduates relevant to Statistics (biological/ biomedical datasets)
  8. Excellent knowledge of the English language
  9. Communication skills and understanding of the position’s requirements (assessed through an interview)



We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher in Statistics to join a multidisciplinary team working on high-impact research projects related to human health and data-driven biological insights. The successful candidate will focus on developing and applying computational methods for the integration and analysis of biomedical/ biological datasets. The role will involve leveraging machine learning and statistical approaches to identify meaningful patterns and biomarkers with translational relevance.


This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with strong bioinformatics expertise to contribute to cutting-edge research, working closely with experts in chemical biology, bioengineering, and computational science.
