Skills/Qualifications

1. Ph. D. degree in mathematics;

2. scientific achievements in the field of mathematics confirmed by articles published in international scientific journals within the last five years;

3. teaching experience in mathematics or computer science (or data science);

4. experience in teaching mathematical statistics will be a serious asset to the candidate(s);

5. very good knowledge of the Polish language and good oral and written English skills.

Specific Requirements

1. professional resume - the document should be signed by the candidate;

2. a copy of the Ph.D. diploma (original document for review);

3. a self-referral informing about interests and achievements in scientific and research, teaching and organizational activities, including: a concise description of scientific achievements; a list of publications with the current score of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; the total number of citations of scientific works with the source of these data; a list of implemented scientific and research, development and implementation projects; a list of scientific and professional awards and distinctions - the above documents should be signed by the candidate;

4. copies of up to five selected works published by the candidate;

The Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Mathematics, Wroclaw University of Technology is looking for a person to fill the position of assistant professor in the group of research and teaching staff in the discipline of mathematics. The person hired for this position will be entrusted with research, teaching and organizational work for the benefit of the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Wroclaw University of Technology. Period of employment: 1.10.2025 - 30.09.2027, with the possibility of extension.
