Sorbonne University, SCAI and Sciences, Normes, Démocratie research center (SND, UMR 8011), in partnership with Sciences Po Law School, is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our team for the “NOD Project“ (Normative and Distributive Effects of AI) focused on systemic risk in digital and artificial intelligence law. The position is for a one-year period, and maybe extended for an additional year and is based in Paris.


Research Focus & Responsibilities


The “NOD Project“ (Normative and Distributive Effects of AI), which is part of the PostGenAI@Paris, explores whether, how and to what extent AI and algorithmic techniques transform legal imaginaries and traditional modes of law-making. The successful candidate will conduct research on the systemic risks associated with AI, focusing on legal frameworks, regulatory policies, and ethical considerations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of robust legal and policy responses to the challenges posed by AI.
