Skills/Qualifications

In addition to the general employment criteria stipulated in Article 39, paragraph 7 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

A doctoral degree in natural sciences, field of physics,
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the application of nuclear analytical methods for material characterization.

Specific Requirements

A mandatory medical examination is required for work in an ionizing radiation zone (exposed worker, category B).

Languages: ENGLISH

Senior Assistant position at the Division of Experimental Physics, Laboratory for Ion Beam Interactions, within the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) project "Sequential, Molecular, and Elemental Mapping Using MeV SIMS and Other IBA Techniques" – focusing on the development and application of secondary ion mass spectrometry using MeV ions (MeV SIMS method). A mandatory medical examination is required for work in an ionizing radiation zone (exposed worker, category B).

The position is temporary, for 1 year, but no later than November 30, 2026. 1 position available.
