- Conducting research under the OPUS project No. 2024/53/B/ST9/02671, which aims to carry out a survey of the sky at VHE in search of transient sources, such as GRBs and Galactic X-ray binaries, using the data of the HAWC Observatory. In addition:

- Disseminating scientific results through publications in leading scientific journals and conference presentations.

- Following developments in high-energy astrophysics and using appropriate up-to-date techniques and methodologies into research projects.

Skills/Qualifications

- PhD degree in physical sciences or astronomy completed before the starting date and not earlier than seven years before the year of the employment in the project,

- adequate scientific track record documented by publications in international journals,

- good knowledge of Linux and Python,

- ability to work in a team,

- fluency in spoken and written English.

Welcome:

- Experience in data analysis in high-energy astrophysics and/or gamma-ray astronomy

- Knowledge of the gammaPy and 3ML packages.
