Position Summary

Applications are invited for the role of Post Doctoral Researcher within the School of Nursing & Midwifery.

In-Touch is an innovative, evidence-based programme designed to enhance person-centred care for people with advanced dementia in nursing homes. We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Researcher with graphic design skills to help develop and communicate engaging project materials for a wide range of audiences.

The In-Touch project aims to improve quality of life for nursing home residents with advanced dementia through tailored interventions and resources. As a Post-Doctoral Researcher, you will play a key role in both advancing research goals and creating visually impactful materials to support programme delivery and engagement. The Post-Doctoral Researcher will typically work under the guidance of a Principal Investigator or Senior Researcher, contributing their expertise to the In Touch project, and may also assume responsibility for the supervision of junior researchers and/or the development of research outputs. An important aspect of this role is contributing to Knowledge Translation and Exchange (KTE) activities, ensuring that research findings are effectively communicated and implemented to benefit diverse audiences and enhance the impact of the In-Touch project.

Post Duration: 3 Months

Salary: €45,847 – €52,339 per annum, IUA PD1 Salary Scale, pro rata 0.5 FTE
