We are seeking a postdoctoral candidate to develop a research project focused on SeedArc, a global seed germination database (https://doi.org/10.1111/nph.19143). The postdoc will focus on (1) expanding the database into underrepresented global regions, and (2) leading research projects on the comparative ecology and evolution of the seed germination niche. The candidate will join the Vegetation and Biodiversity Lab at the Biodiversity Research Institute (https://imib.csic.es/), University of Oviedo, Spain. The host lab is a growing research group with researchers in all stages of their research careers, with active research lines on seed ecology, plant biogeography, habitat mapping and conservation. The postdoc will be supervised by Eduardo Fernández Pascual (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4743-9577) and Borja Jiménez-Alfaro (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-6601-9597).
