The competition is suitable for candidates who meet the conditions laid down in Article 113 and 116 of the Law on Higher Education of 20 July 2018 (Dz. U. 30.08.2018, pos. 1668) and the Statute of the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin.

Eligibility Requirements:

1. Post-doctoral degree in the discipline of ‘environmental engineering, mining and energy’ or ‘mechanical engineering’

2. Scientific achievements in the field of research conducted at the Department of Heating, Ventilation and Heat Engineering

3. Readiness to conduct classes consistent with the department’s educational profile

4. English language proficiency to engage in research and international projects

5. Polish language proficiency to conduct classes and scientific cooperation

4. Certified copy of post-doctoral degree

5. List of scientific and professional achievements

6. Other achievements justifying the employment application

7. Applicant’s future plans for the position

8. Proof of foreign language proficiency

9. Statement declaring West Pomeranian University of Technology as the main place of employment

Proposed employment period: 1 year

The competition committee may, if justified, conduct an additional interview with selected applicants. However, the final employment decision rests with the Rector.

Submitted documents may be collected within 30 days after the selection process. Uncollected documents will be destroyed under supervision.

The selected candidate must submit the following prior to contract signing:

• Information from the National Criminal Record confirming no offences under Chapter XIX, XXV, Articles 189a and 207 of the Penal Code, or drug-related offences under the Act of 29 July 2005 (Journal of Laws 2023, item 1939), or equivalent foreign law provisions.
