• Explore uncharted territory in lab automation — this role is ideal for someone curious, adaptable, and eager to try new things.
• Take the lead on experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting in collaboration with technicians and engineers.

What to Expect
• A full-time postdoctoral position for 16 months, with a planned start in Q4 2025 or Q1 2026 and the possibility of extension.
• Working locations at AITand the Medical University of Vienna.
• AIT’s Molecular Diagnostics department focuses on smart diagnostics, automation, and personalized health monitoring technologies.
• MUW’s Department of Dermatology focuses on the genetic epidemiology of phages and bacteria to better understand phage infection dynamics.
• Work in a supportive, interdisciplinary team with access to modern lab infrastructure and rapid prototyping tools.
• Salary according to Austrian Science Fund (FWF) standards.
