Post-doctoral position in the Division of Marine and Environmental Research, Laboratory for Physical Oceanography and Chemistry of Aquatic Systems (Ruder Boskovic Institute) on the Croatian Science Foundation (CSF) project " Stable isotope signatures of a stratified marine lake (Zmajevo Oko) (ISO-ZOKO). The primary aim of the project is to investigate the variability of stable isotope signatures (δ13C, δ15N, δ34S) and C/N/S ratios of organic matter across different water layers in the marine system of Rogoznica Lake (RL) – Zmajevo Oko. Additionally, a key objective and outcome of the project is the establishment of a permanent monitoring station equipped with data loggers for continuous, high-resolution spatial and temporal measurement of physico-chemical parameters (temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen) at the deepest point of the lake.


Post-doctoral Assistant position is for a temporary 13 months period and no longer than until 30.11.2026.


The selected candidate is expected to work on establishing the measuring station and analyzing the data obtained.
