Offer Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join the Molecular Biology of Cancer group at the Instituto Universitario de Oncología del Principado de Asturias (IUOPA), Universidad de Oviedo. The research will be conducted in the laboratory of Dr. Xose S. Puente in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The focus of the project is to elucidate the molecular mechanisms through which somatic mutations affecting RNA splicing contribute to tumorigenesis, and to investigate the mechanisms driving resistance to CAR-T cell therapies.



Skills/Qualifications

- PhD in Biomedicine, Molecular Oncology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.

- Demonstrated expertise in cancer research.

Specific Requirements

- Minimum of two years of postdoctoral experience abroad is preferred* (Candidates with at least four years of postdoctoral research, but without international experience, may be considered if internationally experienced candidates do not fulfill other criteria.)

- Experience in bioinformatics is highly desirable.

- A strong publication record.

- Proven ability to work in collaborative and multidisciplinary research environments.
