As part of the herd management team you will be responsible for conducting own research projects, acquiring third-party funding, teaching and supervision of theses.

Main Research Field: Herd Health in Dairy Production Systems



Specific Requirements

  • · Completed degree in veterinary medicine (diploma or bachelor's + master's degree or equivalent degree in accordance with § 64/4 of the University Act. Holding a PhD/Doctorate degree)
  • · Experience in handling farm animals and communicating with farm owners
  • · Experience in herd health management of dairy farms in German speaking Region
  • · Peer-reviewed publication activity.
  • · Very good written and spoken German (C1 level)
  • · Good written and spoken English (B2 level)
  • · Confident use of MS Office products
  • · Driving licence category B
