Research project or operation
Within the ANR DAG-Arts (Derived Algebraic Geometry Applied to Representation Theory and Singularities of schemes) project we are recruiting a 1+1 postdoc. The candidate will be working at the University of Strasbourg, under the supervision of Mauro Porta, Lie Fu and Dragoș Frățilă.
Activities
- Description of the research activities :
The candidate is expected to engage in research activities with the members of the local team on topics related derived algebraic geometry, cohomological Hall algebras and enumerative geometry.
- Related activities :
The candidate will participate in the periodic meetings of the ANR, meeting the entire ANR group. The candidate will actively participate in learning groups and he will contribute to the organisation of conferences within the ANR project.
Skills
- Qualifications/knowledge :
We are seeking for candidates with a PhD degree in pure mathematics and a strong background in at least one of the following topics : (1) derived geometry ; (2) cohomological Hall algebras ; (3) enumerative geometry.
- Operational skills/expertise :
Write a mathematical text in LaTeX.
Being able to expose your own research in accessible terms during an exposé.
- Personal qualities :
Open to discussion, curious and passionate about mathematical research
Environment and context of work
- Presentation of the laboratory/unity :
The postdoc will be working in IRMA, at the University of Strasbourg, mostly within the Arithmetic and Algebraic Geometry team. The local members of the ANR are Mauro Porta, Lie Fu and Dragoș Frățilă and they will be the main referents.
- Hierarchical relationship :
The main supervisor will be Mauro Porta.
