Project title: “Topology matters: rationally designed electron and hole transport materials for efficient and stable inverted perovskite solar cells”

NCN OPUS 2024/55/B/ST5/012268, a grant carried out in consortium with IChF PAS

Job description

The scope of duties includes analysis of the literature on organic compounds, heterocycles, the chemistry of PAHs, (anti)aromatic compounds and transformations enabling the implementation of the proposed synthetic pathways, optimization and carrying out of organic syntheses on a laboratory and preparative scale, purification and isolation of compounds intermediates by means of precipitation, maceration, crystallization, column chromatography. Identification of obtained compounds by using spectroscopic tools and critical analysis of obtained results, their presentation (team seminars) and written two-weeks reports.

required competences

  • PhD degree in chemistry (specialization in organic chemistry) obtained no earlier than 12 years before the start of employment in the project (extensions allowed according to NCN regulations), or the expected date of obtaining the PhD prior to the beginning of employment;
  • Scientific achievements documented by publications in recognized scientific journals;
  • Strong motivation and commitment;
  • Excellent knowledge of organic chemistry;
  • Experience in the chemistry of (anti)aromatic compounds and heterocycles;
  • Proficiency in analytical techniques, including NMR and MS;
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, sufficient for independent scientific work.
