Job description

We are looking for a candidate to carry out research in the framework of the ERC SYG project TOMATTO (The ultimate Time scale in Organic Molecular opto-electronics, the ATTOsecond), funded by the European Union (GA 951224).

The selected candidate shall:

• • Cooperate with the SyG team in the development and implementation of the methodology needed to carry out the project (https://tomatto.eu/).
• • Study the electronic transfer processes generated by broadband pulses in donor-acceptor molecules.
• • Model molecular ionization and time-resolved photoelectron spectra to support the experiments performed within the consortium.

Requirements:

• • Good knowledge of operating systems, preferentially linux.
• • Programming in Fortran, C, C++ or Python.
• • Experience in the description of couple electron and nuclear dynamics in molecules.
• • Communication skills in English.
• • Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and adaptability to handle multiple tasks.
• • To be positively valued: proactivity, enthusiasm and creative thinking, ability to work autonomously under group-oriented strategy.
