Scientific Researcher - Postdoctoral Fellow (chemistry or engineering): 1 position (Postdoctoral Position 10 in the project - 3 MMs)


Working hours: Part-time (4 hours/day)


Employment period: Fixed-term for 6 months: January 1, 2026 - June 30, 2026


Competition date: December 18, 2025 Time: 12:00 AM


Location of the competition: IMT Bucharest Headquarters, 126A Erou Iancu Nicolae Street, Voluntari, Ilfov

Skills/Qualifications
General conditions for employment:
a. Graduate of a science or engineering faculty;
b. Master’s degree in Engineering;
c. PhD in Engineering obtained less than 9 years ago;
d. Proven experience is considered an advantage;
e. Romanian citizen or citizen of another EU member state;
f. Resident in Romania;
g. Proficient in Romanian and English (spoken and written).

Specific Requirements
Specific conditions for employment:
a. Knowledge of manufacturing and characterization of materials through physical growth methods.
b. Knowledge of experimental methods for evaluating the physical properties of materials.
c. Modeling and simulation for materials with applications in homogenizing the properties of composite materials in the electromagnetic field, using COMSOL at an intermediate level.
d. Experience in processing experimental data, analyzing them and writing and editing scientific articles, proven by at least two ISI articles as the main author.
