The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the Poznań University of Technology
announces a competition for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the research and teaching group
at the Institute of Architecture and Spatial Planning for a period of one year, full-time

in the scientific field: engineering and technical sciences
in the scientific discipline: architecture and urban planning.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF OFFERS: January 13, 2026

I. The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in the Act of July 20, 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science - Journal of Laws of 2018, item 103. 1668), in the Statute of Poznań University of Technology – Resolution No. 175/2016-2020 of the Academic Senate of Poznań University of Technology of July 10, 2019, as amended, and the principles of human resources policy – ​​annex to Rector's Order No. 66 of November 20, 2020, and meet the following requirements for teaching, research, and professional qualifications:

1. A doctoral degree in architectural engineering.

2. Completed law studies confirmed by a Master of Laws degree.

3. Valuable academic achievements, defined area of ​​research work.

4. Active participation in scientific or artistic activities (conferences, symposia, exhibitions).

5. At least several years (minimum 2 years) of teaching experience with students in the field of architecture (first- and second-cycle studies) in conducting design courses, lectures, and theses in Polish and English.

6. Publications in scientific journals with at least national and international reach.
7. Valuable organizational and popularization achievements, particularly in the field of interdisciplinary, intermedia, and international activities.
8. Significant professional achievements, including documented experience in project work in Poland and abroad.
9. Fluent English, confirmed by a certificate, enabling teaching, exchanges with foreign partners, and participation in conferences.
10. Knowledge of a second foreign language, confirmed by a certificate, enabling teaching, exchanges with foreign partners, and participation in conferences.
11. Fluent knowledge of graphic software: AutoCAD, 3D Studio MAX, Adobe/Affinity suite.
12. Completed pedagogical training.

II. Candidates entering the competition are asked to submit the following documents:
1. An application addressed to the Rector of Poznań University of Technology.

2. Personal questionnaire for the person applying for employment*
3. Qualification sheet*
4. Curriculum vitae (CV).
5. Copies of documents certifying the professional title.
6. Candidate's declaration of primary place of employment*
7. Declaration of compliance with the requirements of Article 113 of the Act*
8. Documentation confirming qualifications (in accordance with points I.1 – I.12).

III. Competition applications should be submitted in person to: Office of the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, room 392, or by registered mail to: Poznań University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture, ul. Jacka Rychlewskiego 2, 61-131 Poznań.

The competition will be decided by February 28, 2026.

If none of the candidates receives a positive evaluation from the selection committee or if there are no candidates, the Dean will close the competition. The Dean may cancel the competition or close it without providing a reason.

5. Personal data will be stored only for the duration of the recruitment process and for 3 months after its completion.
